Doula Support

Prior to your estimated due date, your doula will inform you about the different stages of labor, birth and postpartum and help you prepare a birth plan. Ultimately, the goal is to make you feel comfortable and empowered to make an informed decision and take on your role with charge! Doulas offer pain-management techniques through different combined means to find the best approach for you.  Doula support is provided for the whole length of labor and beyond. I had the pleasure of meeting with Sara when I first learned I was pregnant in March 2020. Since then, we've met over a handful of times and discussed many aspects of pregnancy. Through one of our conversations, I was asked about my birth plan. I felt silly because I didn't know what a birth plan consisted of. Luckily, Sara walked me through it & empowered me to create one.
